During WW11 Americans around my home town were amazed that the Europeans hardly put up a fight against the Germans and so were invaded. I was a child but I remember an old German immigrant say this.  The Europeans have no constitution that makes them free sovereign individuals so a German Government is as good as a French one a Polish one and it didn't matter to them and they only put up a weak resistance.  He then said the English are deferent the are constitutionally free men and they will fight to the last man standing. The  Hun may invade, but the English will remain free men no mater who has a gun to their backs.Germany will be thrown out in the end. The invasion of Britain if it happens will be the undoing of the of Hitlers Germany.  The Germans will never invade America though they will fight in the hope that the USA won't consider Europe worth the battle and seek an armistice.  The German leadership  has no way to deal with free men.  I know that Government can roll over into socialism, communism or fascism.  Still they cannot conquer the will of well armed free men backed by a strong and powerful constitution.   Gentlemen if we stick to our principles we are absolutely invincible.   I believe this, whether its our Government or Chinas we hold the winning hand.               Doug
